China-US relations at 'critically important' stage: Xi tells Trump

The relationship between US and China is at a “critically important” stage and an early trade agreement between the two would send a “positive signal” to their peoples and the broader international community, Chinese President Xi Jinping said in a letter to President Donald Trump.
